Herman Deru Prioritizes Infrastructure Assistance for Lubuklinggau

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra, H. Herman Deru, received an audience with the Mayor of Lubuklinggau, Rachmat Hidayat and his staff in the South Sumatra Governor’s Meeting Room, Thursday, (3/20/2025). This meeting discussed the submission of Special Governor’s Assistance (Bangubsus) from the Lubuk Linggau City Government.

On that occasion, Governor Herman Deru explained the 2025 budget year development plan which will focus on three categories, namely super priority, priority, and sustainable or regular programs.

According to him, Super priority is intended for stalled projects that are greatly needed by the community, priority for strategic RPJMD programs, and regular for sustainable programs such as maintenance.

“The value of the assistance will be adjusted according to the presentation and verification carried out by the South Sumatra Provincial Government team. I want this special assistance to be used accountably, efficiently, and effectively, with benefits that are right on target for the community,” he said.

In addition, Governor Herman Deru also encouraged the development of green spaces in Lubuk Linggau, revitalization of health centers, and improving the quality of services at village offices. He instructed the Health Office to coordinate with the Ministry of Health regarding the improvement of supporting facilities for the Lubuk Linggau Regional Hospital and the intervention of the Sumsel Berkat program for the City of Lubuk Linggau.

Meanwhile, the Mayor of Lubuk Linggau, Rachmat Hidayat explained the proposed program activities through Special Financial Assistance (BKBK). He said that the proposed BKBK was mainly intended for the development of Lubuk Linggau infrastructure.

“We have high hopes that all infrastructure development in Lubuk Linggau can be approved through the evaluation and verification team so that Lubuk Linggau’s infrastructure will be even better in the future,” he concluded.

This meeting was attended by Assistant II for Economic Finance and Regional Development of South Sumatra Province, Ir. Basyaruddin Akhmad, M.Sc., and the Heads of South Sumatra OPDs. (ojn/ril)
