Jakarta, The Indonesia Post – President Joko Widodo said that the Indonesian National Team’s victory when they hosted Brunei Darussalam in the 2026 World Cup Qualification match at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta, Thursday night, was good capital for the next match.
“I think this is good capital,” said Jokowi after the match at GBK, Jakarta, Thursday night.
He said that Indonesia’s match against Brunei tonight was very entertaining, especially as Indonesia was able to win the match with a score of 6-0.
“Yes, it’s busy, it’s very, very entertaining, because it’s 6-0, right? And this will be a match in Brunei on (17 October 2023),” said Jokowi.
President Widodo assessed that all players had competed well. He emphasized that football is a team effort.
“Earlier in the second half, I think the entry of Ramadhan Sananta changed the pattern of play somewhat,” he explained.
