Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra (Sumsel) H Herman Deru attended the XI Plenary Meeting of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD with the agenda of Submitting Recommendations from the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD regarding the Accountability Statement Report (LKPJ) of the Governor of South Sumatra for the 2024 Fiscal Year. This event took place in the Plenary Meeting Room of the South Sumatra DPRD on Monday (28/4/2025).
In his remarks, Governor Herman Deru expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the leaders and members of the South Sumatra DPRD for their support for regional development programs in order to realize community welfare.
“Let us continue to establish communication, cooperation, and synergy for good governance. Our work and performance will continue to move forward,” he said.
He emphasized that the suggestions and recommendations received will be followed up in accordance with the development targets that have been set. HD assessed that input from the DPRD is very important as a means of evaluation for the direction of South Sumatra’s future development.
“This recommendation is very valuable for the preparation, planning, and budgeting of the current year and the following year,” he said.
Meanwhile, on the same occasion, the Plenary Meeting was continued with the XII (12) Plenary Meeting of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD with the agenda of changing and adding to the program for the formation of regional regulations for the Province of South Sumatra in 2025.
The Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Andie Dinialdie, said that based on the explanation from the South Sumatra Provincial Regulation Formation Agency, of the 5 (Five) Draft Regional Regulations Proposed by the Executive, 3 (Three) Draft Regional Regulations were approved to be included in the Addition to the 2025 Propemperda.
