Palembang, The Indonesia Post – On the 5th day of the Regional Head Retreat in Magelang, the Governor of South Sumatra Province, H Herman Deru, attended a series of material presentation activities from a number of ministers and high-ranking state officials at the Borobudur International Golf and Country Club, Tuesday (25/02/2025).
South Sumatra Governor Herman Deru was very enthusiastic about participating in the presentation of the material. By bringing with him the experience of two terms as regent and governor as well as an understanding of the situation and conditions of South Sumatra Province, he was always at the forefront when discussions and Q&A with the speakers were held.
South Sumatra Governor Herman Deru admitted that he had received a lot of material and his material was getting sharper from various speakers. According to him, the material was not only sharp but also broader. “For example, today the material is from all HPH, yesterday the TNI and today we also talked about health.
Herman Deru also revealed that in the future his party will be more concrete in taking every policy by referring to existing statistical data. Among them are identifying regional potential, in order to jointly build the region and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).

The material was delivered in a marathon by the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK) Pratikno, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Arifatul Choiri Fauzi, Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu’ti, Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid.
Next is the presentation of the Fifth Asta Cita, Focusing on downstreaming and industrialization to increase domestic added value. The material will be delivered by Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Investment and Downstream Rosan Roeslani, and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia.
Delivery of the Sixth Asta Cita material, Discussing strategies for economic equality and poverty eradication by building from the village and from below.
