Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra, H. Herman Deru, directly inaugurated the Grand Opening of the second branch of Kedai Kopi Rumah Loer Kota Tengah which is strategically located on Jalan Kapten A. Rivai, Palembang, on Saturday (10/5/2025).
The presence of the Governor of South Sumatra, Herman Deru, at this event shows the support of the South Sumatra Provincial Government for the development of local businesses and culinary tourism potential in the city of Palembang.
In his remarks, Governor Herman Deru expressed his appreciation for the rapid development of Kopi Loer. “This is the second time I have attended the opening of the Kopi Loer branch, which means that this business is developing well. Hopefully, the opening of this new branch will increase the number of customers, because our city really needs comfortable places,” said Governor Herman Deru.
Furthermore, Governor Herman Deru provided some constructive input to the owner of Kopi Loer, M. Mirza Oktaviansyah, regarding sales strategies and service quality.
“Mirza as the owner of Kopi Loer has his own calculations. We see the changes of businesses here, and not all of them last long. Therefore, Kopi Loer must provide the best service and provide a hygienic and fast food menu,” he said.
In addition, HD also emphasized the importance of innovation and quality. “Provide the best sales strategy. Provide breakthroughs so that customers feel comfortable, hygienic, and carry out quality control before serving to consumers,” he added.
At the end of his speech, Governor Herman Deru expressed his gratitude to the owner of Kopi Loer for his contribution in enriching the culinary tourism options in Palembang. He also asked Kopi Loer to include typical South Sumatran ornaments such as songket or tanjak as part of the decoration to further strengthen local identity. (ojn/ril)
