“So far, people’s mindsets are literal literacy skills, reading and writing. Besides that, literacy can be obtained from listening, seeing to add insight,” said HD.
Added HD We always think intelligence can be obtained in school where every parent demands achievement. However, this is not balanced if you do not add insight.
“It’s useless to excel if you are not insightful and become introverted. Children will become insensitive to the surrounding environment. And this is the task of Literacy Ambassadors and Literacy Mothers in the Regency / City so that they can take advantage of every available facility. To show performance in the field, the end result is increase HDI (Human Development Index),” said HD.
At the end of the speech, HD advised all literacy ambassadors and literacy mothers to play a role in fighting ignorance.
