Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra, H. Herman Deru (HD) attended the pre-Ramadan 1444H sermon at the Hamalatul Qur’an Islamic Boarding School.
In his remarks, HD said that currently there are more than 5,000 tahfidz houses, however, it is hoped that the spread of the Qur’an teachers can be more evenly distributed, not to pile up in one village.
“I hope Andinda Aji Santoso so that the Hafids hafidzon who were born from Islamic boarding schools can be spread evenly in South Sumatra,” said HD.
HD also said that as a leader, officials must be flexible in making decisions as well as the public.
In addition, HD also reminded that every gathering that is held will give birth to an unwitting economic movement that can also provide solutions to the problems faced.
“Ulama, umaroh, people must continue to build and carry out hospitality because there are many benefits to be gained from gathering, such as solving the problems they face,” said HD.
Meanwhile, the leadership of the Palembang Hamalatul Qur’an Islamic Boarding School, Abuya Ustad Muhammad Aji Santoso, thanked the Governor of South Sumatra for being present at the Islamic boarding school’s activities. (mhn/ril)
