Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The steps of the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru to form a generation of noble character and religious observance through Tahfidz’s house seems to be bearing fruit.
This is evidenced by the rapid development of Tahfidz’s house in South Sumatra at this time. Where, according to Herman Deru, currently Tahfidz’s house in South Sumatra has reached 4 thousand scattered throughout South Sumatra.
“Our target for Tahfidz’s house has been exceeded. Currently, Tahfidz’s house in South Sumatra has reached 4,000. This means that our efforts to stimulate the development of Tahfidz’s house have the support of all parties,” said Herman Deru during the inauguration of stage 1 of the Tahfidz dormitory and the graduation of students in Atqia’s Qur’an house, Talang Jambe Palembang, Tuesday (14/6).
The participation of stakeholders, the community, BUMD and religious leaders is one of the factors supporting the rapid development of the tahfidz house.
“We are certainly grateful to religious leaders, including the founder of the Qur’an Atqia house who has supported this tahfidz house program. Not to mention the parents who have contributed to forming noble character for children,” he explained.
Herman Deru also invited BUMD such as BSB and the community individually to increase their contribution to invest in the development of the tahfidz house.
“I ask all parties to increase their contribution. So that South Sumatra’s steps to become a religious area can be realized,” he concluded.
Present on the occasion were the Head of Atqia Palembang Qur’an House Ust. Joni Saputra, Compliance Director of Bank Sumsel Babel Mustakim and a number of officials within the South Sumatra Provincial Government. (ojn/ril)
