Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Acting (Acting) Governor of South Sumatra Agus Fatoni also attended the Joint Launching of Repairing Uninhabitable Houses (RTLH) and Providing Simultaneous Sanitation in South Sumatra at Gang Kaleng, Plaju Ilir, Kec. Plaju, Palembang City.
Present on that occasion, the Head of the South Sumatra Perkim Department, Ir. Novian Aswardani, ST., MM.IPM., Asean Eng, Head of the PUBMTR Service M. Affandi, ST., M.Sc., Plaju District Head, H. Ahmad Furqon, Plaju Police Chief, Akp. Hendri Permana, Danramil Plaju, Captain Jzi Junaidi, and the Head of the Plaju District Village.
Fatoni said this movement is a Provincial and District/City Government Program in South Sumatra. Where Repairing Uninhabitable Houses (RTLH) is part of the South Sumatra Simultaneous House Renovation Movement (GBRSS).
“Simultaneous movements like this continue to be carried out so that development in South Sumatra can be more effective, efficient, right on target, its success can be measured and the benefits can be felt by the community,” he said.
Fatoni appreciated and thanked BSB and Jamkrida for helping a number of houses to be renovated today. He revealed that the house renovation budget was obtained from the APBN, Provincial and District/City APBD, Baznas, CSR from companies, BUMN, BUMD, and the private sector.
“Today’s house renovations total 8,391 houses, we should be proud and grateful. The minimum is this amount and this number will continue to increase. “Because there are still many who want to contribute,” he said.
Currently collected data on sanitation provision is 6,984. This number can still increase. This is the largest amount of sanitation development in Indonesia and we will include MURI.
Meanwhile, Assistant II for Economics, Finance and Development, Ir. Basyaruddin Akhmad, M.Sc., said that this activity was initiated by the Acting Governor of South Sumatra. After being launched, the house that has been renovated will be inaugurated before May 15, the anniversary of South Sumatra Province.
On that occasion, the Acting Governor of South Sumatra also symbolically handed over sanitation assistance to the community. (ojn/ril)
