Palembang, The Indonesia Post – A total of nine factions in the Legislative Council (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province conveyed their General Views on the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) for Amendment to the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).

The plenary meeting was chaired by Kartika Sandra Desi, SH, attended by the Deputy Governor of South Sumatra H Mawardi Yahya and Regional Secretary SA Supriono, OPD representatives and other invited guests.
Submission of general views from the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD factions, starting with the Golongan Karya (Golkar) Party Faction, delivered by Fatra Radezayanzyah, ST MM, followed by the PDIP faction H.A Syarnubi SP MM. Then the Gerindra Faction Prima Salam, SH, the Democratic Party Faction delivered by Drs. H. A. Gani Subit MM, the PKB faction delivered by Antoni Yuzar, SH MH, the Nasdem Party faction delivered by Yenny Elita, S.Pd MM. The general view of the PKS Faction was conveyed by Ahmad Toha, S.Pd I MSi, continued The PAN faction was delivered by H. Juanda Hanafiah, SH MM, ending with the presentation of the Hanura Perindo Faction Ahmad Firdaus Ishak SE MSi.
One of the PDIP factions, H.A Syarnubi, SP MM, said that in terms of education, seriousness has not yet been felt. This is because the maximum results have not been obtained from the work of the related OPD so far.
“We hope the government can take quick steps. So that the targets in the world of education so far can be achieved, “he said.
Furthermore, Syarnubi said, the government should be able to intensify all budgets. To be more effective, BPKAD can design revenue sharing and financial assistance to districts and cities that are programmed to be able to running effectively. In addition, Bapenda is more able to achieve the target, so that the regional retribution can be maximized.
“A good bureaucratic structure and development must be in line with the existing vision and mission,” he said.
Other factions also highlighted the budget, related to Regional Original Revenue, regional expenditures. Then conveyed several views related to the fields of education, health, then related to the fields of youth and sports, women’s empowerment programs, people’s welfare, road infrastructure development and etc. On that occasion, the faction in the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD expressed their rejection of the Central Government’s policy of increasing BB prices because they felt it would add to the burden on the community.
After the presentation of the Umm views of the factions, the plenary session was suspended to further provide the executive with the opportunity to prepare answers to the general views referred to. plenary meeting will be continued on September 9, 2022 with the Governor’s Answer Agenda to the General Views of the factions on the Raperda on Amendments to the South Sumatra Provincial Budget for the 2022 fiscal year.
The deputy chairman of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Kartika Sandra Desi SH, said that his party would suspend him until Friday the 9th for the answer from the South Sumatra Governor.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Governor of South Sumatra H Mawardi Yahya said that all of these inputs would be immediately submitted to the Governor. Then on the 9th the answers to all the general views of the factions will be given.
“We will convey all inputs and general views from all factions in the South Sumatra DPRD to the Governor,” he said. (ojn/ril)
