Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra, H. Herman Deru accompanied by the Head of South Sumatra KORMI, Samantha Tivani, opened the Main Esports Recreational Competition in FORNAS VI 2021 South Sumatra 2022 at the Aryaduta Hotel Palembang.
On this occasion, HD said that the implementation of FORNAS VI 2021 South Sumatra 2022 is a pride for the people of South Sumatra, because South Sumatra has been trusted to be the place for the implementation of these recreational sports.
HD also reported that the number of participants who attended the implementation of Fornas VI 2021 South Sumatra 2022 was more than 12,000 registered participants.
In addition, HD also said that the implementation of Fornas VI 2021 in South Sumatra had an impact on improving the community’s economy, such as sold-out FORNAS merchandise and an increase in the number of pempek production in South Sumatra.
Meanwhile, the General Chair of the National KORMI, Hayono Isman expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the support that has been carried out by the entire FORNAS VI Sumsel 2022 committee who have provided full and proper support.
“Fornas VI is a revival point for community recreational sports. This will be an example for the next national forum”, he said.
Regarding the implementation of Inorga Esports, he hopes that the Indonesia Esports Association (IESPA) must move massively to reach the village level to promote esports so that people’s enthusiasm for Inorga increases.
On the same occasion, the Special Staff of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Diaz Hendropiyono, said that he hoped that the existence of FORNAS VI 2021 South Sumatra 2022 could motivate other athletes or esports activists to become athletes or professional activists who competed in the regional or international arena representing Indonesia.
