Palembang, The Indonesia Post – As usual, every year on Eid al-Adha, the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru (HD) shares with the people of South Sumatra Province.
This time HD handed over 5 qurban animals in the form of cows to various mosques. 5 (five) Mosques that received Sacrificial (qurban) Animals from HD today include the Al Magrfiroh Macan Lindungan Mosque, Jamik Mosque, Kec. Gandus, Mushollah Mujahidin Merogan Kec. Kertapati, Darussalam Mosque, Kec. Kalidoni and Masjid Nurul Iman Kec. Alang-wide.
HD hopes that the qurban beef can be distributed to residents around the mosque and prayer room. According to him, during Eid al-Adha, we can perform worship and sacrifice to share with others.
“Today, I symbolically handed over this sacrificial animal to several points. Some were from me and my family. Then there were also friends who symbolically asked to be distributed to places that had been determined and proportionally,” said HD.
