South Sumatra Governor and Forkopimda Perform Friday Prayers Together at Griya Agung Mosque

Palembang, The Indonesia Post — South Sumatra Governor H. Herman Deru, together with Pangdam II/Sriwijaya Maj. Gen. TNI Ujang Darwis, South Sumatra Police Chief Insp. Gen. Andi Rian R. Djajadi, and South Sumatra DPRD Chairman Andie Dinialdie, performed Friday Prayers in congregation at Griya Agung Mosque on Friday (August 1, 2025).

This joint worship activity served as a means of strengthening ties and reinforcing synergy among the elements of South Sumatra’s Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda).

The occasion also reflected the spirit of unity in maintaining social and spiritual stability as Indonesia approaches the commemoration of its 80th Independence Day.

After the prayer, the officials greeted the congregation and conveyed messages on the importance of preserving harmony and strengthening religious values.
