Kiemas, SE., MM., Attended the Taking of the Oath of Office and Inauguration of the Acting Regent/Mayor and Chair of the Family Welfare (TP PKK) of Empat Lawang Regency/City, Pagaralam, Palembang, Prabumulih, Muara Enim, Lubuk Linggau and Banyuasin, as well as the Acting Regional Secretary Regency/City of Palembang, Lubuk Linggau, Prabumulih, Empat Lawang and Pagaralam, South Sumatra Province, located in Griya Agung, Palembang. The 7 acting regional heads (PJ) Regent and Mayor who have been appointed by the Governor of South Sumatra are Hani Syopiar Rustam, SH PJ Regent of Banyuasin, Drs. H. Ratu Dewa, M.SI PJ Palembang City, Ir. H. Trisko Defriyansa, ST, M.SI., IPU PJ Lubuklinggau City, H. Elman, ST., MM PJ Prabumulih City, Pauzan Khoiri, AP., MM PJ Empat Lawang Regency, H. Lusapta Yudha Kurnia, SE. , MM PJ Pagaralam City, Drs. H. Ahmad Rizali, MA PJ Muara Enim Regency.
The Governor of South Sumatra Province, H. Herman Deru, in his speech congratulated the Acting Regent of Banyuasin, the Acting Regent of Palembang City, the Acting City of Pagaralam, the City of Lubuklinggau, the Acting Regency of Muaraenim, the Acting of Prabumulih City, the Acting of Empat Lawang Regency. Today’s inauguration is constitutionally and legally valid. Congratulations from today, ladies and gentlemen, on carrying out such an important mandate as Acting Regional Head and Regional Secretary to my friends who have completed their duties for 10 years and 5 years.
“Being a leader has three main elements, first a government leader, second a development leader and third a community leader, all of which are very important so that the government must run in a conducive manner, not necessarily making it easier for hands to sign something, especially one that has a negative impact on individuals or communities or regions,” he explained.
The Governor of South Sumatra added that in a development there is no excuse that if the PJ is in charge then the development will not proceed and there is no explanation for it must proceed in accordance with regional finances and the vision and mission. I really ask that the newly appointed PJ behave politely in society, especially as we face a political year. I want you ladies and gentlemen to continue to communicate well with previous officials because they are not your political opponents and some of them are even teachers and mentors.
“Of course I hope that the PJs will continue to communicate with previous officials to share knowledge, and I also ask my brothers and sisters who are entering the rest area or who have to change professions to provide the best knowledge to the PJs who are currently serving for the term of service up to next decision. “To the PJ family, I ask to maintain the dignity of the family being appointed so that they carry out their trust and dignity,” he explained.
Apart from the inauguration of the Acting Regent and Mayor, there was also the inauguration of the Acting Chair of the City Regency TP-PKK.
