Success as an Outstanding Sports Coach, HD was awarded an Award from the Indonesian Minister of Youth and Sports

Balikpapan, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru for the umpteenth time again received the award, this time from the sports field, namely as an Outstanding Sports Coach which was given directly by the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) RI, Zainudin Amali at the commemoration of the XXXIX National Sports Day (Haornas) 2022 at the Stadium Block Jalan Mulawarman Manggar, East Balikpapan District, Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan, Friday (9/9)

HD said the award given to him was actually an award for the people of South Sumatra and earlier there were two governors who received awards who had achievements in their respective sports fields.

“In sports coaching, there is currently a National Sports Grand Design (DBON) which is the outline in managing this sport. This means that there is an equalization of sports achievements and creations as well as others, so there is also a KORMI Management in South Sumatra,” said HD.

He also hopes that the HAORNAS commemoration in East Kalimantan will be a sign of improving sports achievements in Indonesia.

Not only that, this award has also succeeded in bringing South Sumatra to host the VI year 2022 FORNAS with the highest number of participants. However, it cannot be separated from the role of Governor Herman Deru who continues to aggressively promote sports in South Sumatra and look for sports athletes to reach remote villages.

Meanwhile, the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, KH Ma’aruf Amin, said that the spirit of building a national sport must be invigorated because it gives a lot of meaning in life because sport is able to unite differences.

In addition to the Governor of South Sumatra, the award was also given to the Governor of West Java, H Ridwan Kamil and the Governor of East Kalimantan, H Isran Noor. In addition, various awards were also given to Government Institutions, Athletes, Media Crews and others. (mhn/ril)
