Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru conducted a review of the Indralaya-Prabumulih toll road section. Where, this is a step to ascertain how far the construction of the paid road section is progressing.
“I see that the progress of the construction of this toll road is timely. In fact, several bridges connecting this toll road have also been built,” Herman Deru said during the inspection, Saturday (14/1).
According to him, it is important to accelerate the construction of the Indralaya-Prabumulih toll road. This is because the need for toll roads in South Sumatra is quite high.
He said, the community, especially road users, are certainly impatient for the operation of the Indralaya-Prabumulih toll road section.
Therefore, the target is that this toll road can be completed in March 2023.
“We certainly can’t wait for this toll road to operate soon. Including the Palembang-Betung toll road and the Prabumulih-Muara Enim toll road. For this toll road, the target is to be completed in March 2023. So during the Eid al-Fitr holiday homecoming,” he said.
Because, he continued, the toll road would have a good impact on economic growth in South Sumatra.
On the other hand, Herman Deru reminded, Hutama Karya (HK) as the person in charge of the construction of the toll road continues to pay attention to things that have traumatized the road user community.
It is known that the inspection was carried out by Governor Herman Deru in the gap between the Indralaya-Prabumulih toll road.
In fact, Herman Deru had the opportunity to review the construction of a rest area or resting area on the toll road.
It didn’t stop there, the inspection was carried out by Herman Deru all the way to the Prabumulih toll exit.
Meanwhile, Project Director of the Indralaya-Prabumulih Toll Road Sarjono said, the progress of land acquisition for the construction of the Indralaya-Prabumulih toll road has been completed 96 percent.
“The progress of the land is 96.04 percent. However, construction can still be carried out. Currently it is running well,” he said.
He also confirmed that in March 2023, the Indralaya-Prabumulih toll road could be operated.
During the inspection, Governor Herman Deru was accompanied by a number of related officials within the South Sumatra Provincial Government. (mhn/bbs)
