Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Starting with singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya followed by a moment of silence, the 2024 South Sumatra Province Flag Raising Troops (Paskibraka) were officially inaugurated by the Acting Governor of South Sumatra, Elen Setiadi at Griya Agung (Wednesday, 14/8/2024).
The inauguration ceremony took place solemnly, the Kendit symbol of inauguration was symbolically given by Elen Setiadi to one of the Paskibraka Troops.
Furthermore, Elen Setiadi accompanied by the Acting Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial PKK TP, Melza Elen Setiadi and accompanying officials congratulated all the selected Paskibraka Troops by shaking their hands one by one.
The enthusiasm of the Paskibraka Troops to raise the flag at the 79th Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony was very visible when they performed cheers accompanied by various movements in a compact manner.
Seeing and hearing the loud voices issued by the Paskibraka Troops, the invited guests, especially the parents who were present, were very enthusiastic to document the moment.
It should be noted that the South Sumatra provincial Paskibra troop in 2024 consists of 50 Paskibraka members consisting of 25 men and 25 women. They will be on duty at the flag-raising and lowering ceremony to commemorate the 79th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence in the Griya Agung yard on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
The Paskibraka who were inaugurated were selected students from various schools in 17 regencies and cities in South Sumatra.
