Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru said that shooting sports has the value of sportsmanship, can foster a courageous spirit to be competent, dare to take a stand and make the right decisions.

“South Sumatra does have good shooting talent, but this is fluctuating, in order to survive and climb we recruit international coaches who have experience who are expected to impart knowledge to coaches and directly train children,” he said.
HD admitted that he was happy with the enthusiasm of the children in participating in this sport. It was previously known that HD had instructed the Education Office to make shooting sports an extracurricular to introduce the public, including children, that this is not an expensive sport, as well as to socialize that rifles are not tools of violence but sports equipment.
