Jakarta, The Indonesia Post – DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan expressed his appreciation to the Metro Jaya Regional Police (Polda) for contributing to maintaining security stability in the capital city.
Anies when met after the Bhayangkara 76th Anniversary Ceremony at the Polda Metro Jaya, Tuesday, said behind the safe atmosphere of the City of Jakarta there was hard work from the security forces.
“There are officers who work day and night, hot and not sleeping at night to ensure that all residents can sleep peacefully,” said Anies Baswedan.
Anies added that the Metro Jaya Regional Police and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government had collaborated well in handling the COVID-19 pandemic which occurred two years after the last year.
“We have both faced the challenges of the pandemic during the last two and a half years, not only feeling a solid joint work, but we have reached an atmosphere of friendship, mutual support, and mutual support in all aspects,” said Anies.
Anies said this indicates the presence of the Police in providing an atmosphere of security and order in Jakarta.
“Hopefully there will be solidity, hopefully the work and dedication will continue to increase for the entire community, especially in Jakarta, thank you,” said Anies. (mhn/bbs)
