Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Regional Secretary of South Sumatra Province (H. Sumatra) H. Nasrun Umar gave direct guidance regarding the Design of the Development of an Integrity Zone towards a Corruption-Free Area (WBK) or Clean Serving Bureaucracy Region (WBBM) in governance, this activity was held by the Central Statistics Agency of South Sumatra Province in the South Sumatra Provincial BPS Office.
According to him, one form of government commitment to improve service quality, integrity, and accountability of public services is through the implementation of WBK and WBBM.
Where the declaration of integrity zone development is expected to increase public confidence in the application of the principles of good governance.
“As stipulated in the ministerial empowerment ministerial regulation and bureaucratic reform number 52 of 2014 the stages of integrity zone development include the stage of the declaration of integrity zone development which is a declaration of a statement from the leadership of a government agency that his institution is ready to build an integrity zone,” he said
He hopes that this declaration will be carried out openly, so that the community and other stakeholders will witness, monitor, oversee and oversee the implementation of bureaucratic reform in the statistical body of the province of South Sumatra, as well as the statistical body of the regency of the city in all of South Sumatra. especially in preventing corruption and improving the quality of public services.
“We hope that the entire ranks of the Central Statistics Agency of South Sumatra Province can carry out bureaucratic reform, especially in the development of integrity zones maximally and consistently, and always carry out the control and evaluation functions periodically and continuously in their implementation,” he added.
“So that the expected results in the form of improved public services and the realization of clean and free governance can be achieved,” he concluded.
